Colored sand beaches

TRAVEL leisurely 30 minutes from Cape Town towards Muizenberg, a small town south of Cape Town, South Africa, feels good. Street vehicle smoothly with little disruption to enjoy the scenery makes hardly any. It felt an instant affection for a blind eye.
Elsewhere where there is winter, but very warm.
- Garry Brand

The air makes the sky bright blue display that we know as "blue sky". Just like a canvas, on the natural surface daub various kind of cotton wadding. A little here, little there. Contrast, blue and white. In between tersisip little blue shades of white or slightly gray.

With a little use of imagination, we can see nature's paintings serve as forms of animals, humans, a flower, which is sometimes like making a scene. The original motion picture moving and at some point been forced to stop.

I slowly lower the car window. -Shore wind is rather cold this time-travel entry. The air was cool, but did not make the shivers. Cape Peninsula area of Cape Town-the place to be with other small towns in the west-facing the Atlantic Ocean tend to be somewhat cooler than the Southern Cape region, such as Port Elizabeth and Durban, which received the warm currents from the Indian Ocean.

However, overall the Cape Peninsula in winter was much warmer than the South African cities to the north, such as Johannesburg and Pretoria. In fact, often occur Cape Town gets sun really bright so that the temperature shows the number of 30 degrees Celsius. "Where there is in other places the winter, but very warm," said Garry Brand, owner of Bellevue Manor guesthouse in Cape Town.

Back to travel towards Muizenberg, the afternoon's first 20-minute trip a cool breeze was blowing gently. However, in the last 10 minutes, the wind started blowing harder. The sky was still blue, no signs of climate change will occur. From inside a car moving along the beach looking the waves began to strengthen. The waves are not too high, but deburannya strong enough. In some places the waves slamming into the rocks on the beach, soaring high, forming a shower before they spread back to the beach.

Muizenberg Beach that afternoon was not too crowded. A father teaches his son who was aged around three years of cycling in the sand, both shows piles of seaweed or shell split. A woman walking with her dog who seemed to enjoy every corner of the beach. Some young people have fun with seluncurnya board, while others are preparing to enter the sea.

Once in Muizenberg, again I got the treat of color games. In a little brown and white sand, a row of dozens of upright locker room. Rows of wooden room that is not boring, even fun.

Each dressing room painted in the colors: red, green, yellow, blue. Intermittent alloys. There are front and rear walls of yellow, green and red-door, the side wall of red and blue roofs. He is adjacent to the space that the overall blend different color altogether. Front wall of green with red and yellow doors.

Viewed from the parking lot, a row of dressing room was like a box colored pencils. Simple shape, square with a conical roof and strut in the front legs as well as the steps to the door of the locker room. His background is white waves coming from the blue sea, which as far as the eye could see ufuknya lines merge with the blue sky and clouds whites.

Relax

Only about three miles to the south of Muizenberg, calc the Bay Beach is also one of the Cape Peninsula residents relaxing location. Practically since from Muizenberg, calc the Bay, up to Simon's Town rows of small inn invites his guests to enjoy the beautiful False Bay, part of the Cape Peninsula which faces east.

Generally adjacent to the inn offers bed and breakfast, lined up restaurants, cafes, and bistros serving a wide range of food through a variety of themes as well. Souvenir shops selling goods with a special design that tends to modern minimalist, mostly with young people of color.

Right at the Bay Beach calc, for example, those who want to enjoy the ocean view restaurant chose to enter the large glass-walled so that the entire ocean view can be enjoyed fully without incurring the cold sea breeze. However, in the same place, an old restaurant that has tens of years, Kalky's, offers a cheaper price. No wonder this restaurant was never lonely. Two big pieces of fish and chips, fried fish and fries-can be obtained for around 35 rand (USD 45 000).

"You come to the right place," said the restaurant's old servant, who occasionally sat on the bench guests, accompany them to dine. "All old people know this place."

Travel book about the Cape Town created by Time Out as well call it a legendary fish and chip shop. A great place to cover the journey from coast to coast in the Cape Peninsula.
